Anirban is a student of cinema who grew up playing guitar and studying law in Calcutta, India. In 2021, he moved to Mumbai to work as an automotive filmmaker and photographer. He worked at CNBC-TV18 (Network18) and later at PowerDrift Studios Ltd. Seeking a deeper understanding of the nuances in visual storytelling, he began a Master’s degree in Directing (MA Filmmaking) at MetFilm School, Berlin. After a year of training and a few short-film projects in Germany, he graduated with Distinction at the end of 2025 with his documentary 'The Second Sons'. In his spare time he likes attending concerts, watching stand-up comedy and dislikes writing about himself in third person.
